When you’re just starting out in life, you look for certain things in your car. One of those things is a low price-tag — after all, you don’t have a lot of cash to flash around for a luxury vehicle when you’re a young adult. But things like comfort and technology are also important features for many young drivers.
Thankfully, there are several vehicles on the market that check all these boxes, according to a study by 24/7 Wall St. Two of those vehicles are the 2021 Mitsubishi Mirage and the 2021 Mitsubishi Outlander Sport.
2021 Mitsubishi Mirage
Clocking in at number two on the list, the 2021 Mitsubishi Mirage has a starting price of just $14,295.* The subcompact hatchback gets an EPA-estimated 36 mpg in the city and 43 mpg on the highway.** It comes in a variety of bold colors, including Sand Yellow Metallic, Sapphire Blue Metallic, and Infrared Metallic. It also comes with several advanced safety features like Lane Departure Warning, Automatic High Beam, and Forward Collision Mitigation with Pedestrian Detection. A standard 7-inch Smartphone Link Display Audio system makes it easy to access your favorite podcasts and playlists through Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto™.
2021 Mitsubishi Outlander Sport
The 2021 Mitsubishi Outlander Sport crossover is ranked as the 22nd cheapest car in the U.S. It has a starting MSRP of $20,995* and offers more interior space and a higher ride height than the Mirage hatchback. It offers the same standard advanced safety features as the Mirage, as well as an available 8-inch Smartphone Link Display Audio system. The Outlander Sport offers up to 49.5 cubic feet of cargo room, making it easier to carry your essentials without sacrificing space.
Both the 2021 Mitsubishi Mirage and Outlander Sport are good choices if you’re looking for a lot of features at a low price. You can check them out in person at Gossett Mitsubishi.
