For the 2020 model year, the Mitsubishi Outlander has more standard safety features and a variety of interior upgrades to make driving more enjoyable than ever before. The Outlander is a family-friendly SUV with seating for seven, yet it also comes with a capable CUV body style and available Super All-Wheel Control (S-AWC) to make this model perfect for your next adventure. To start with, the 2020 Outlander boasts an improved Super All-Wheel Control all-wheel-drive system that’s lighter than previous iterations, as well as standard Forward Collision Mitigation, Lane Departure Warning, and High Beam Control on the SE, LE, SEL, and GT trims. Combining sensor technologies and alerts, these features will work to keep you (and the drivers around you) better protected.
Other additions include an all-new three-row design that’s standard across all trim levels, with fold-away independent rear seats to let you accommodate more cargo. There’s also a high-tech smartphone-link Display Audio System, as well as standard Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto™ smartphone connectivity. Mitsubishi is also replacing the previous Rockford Fosgate™ audio system with an optional Mitsubishi Power Sound System.
Power & Performance
Naturally, the Outlander carries over several winning features from 2019. For instance, there’s your choice between a 166-horsepower 2.4-liter inline engine or a 224-horsepower 3.0-liter V6. Plus, there’s a torque-converter six-speed automatic transmission for a smooth driving experience and great fuel economy.
